Once your form has been created and customized, you can review the respondent experience, choose how to distribute it, and control how the form behaves: its public link, availability, the screens respondents see, and who gets notified on submission.
Preview Your Form
Before sharing, click Preview in the top-right corner of the Form Builder to see the form exactly as respondents will: the title, description, questions, required markers, and layout. Close the preview to return to the builder if anything needs adjusting.
Share a Form
Click Share Form in the Form Builder and pick one of three methods:
Send Email - Opens an email composer with your sender details pre-filled. Select a contact from your CRM or enter an email address manually, optionally apply an email template, customize the subject and message, and send. Recipients get an Open Form button that takes them straight to the form.
Copy Link - Copies the form's public URL to your clipboard, for messaging apps, client portals, booking confirmations, or anywhere else. Anyone with the link can open and submit the form.
Embed Form - Shows the code to place the form on your website. Click Copy to Clipboard, paste it into the appropriate section of your site, and use Preview to check how the embedded form will appear.
Form Settings
The Settings tab controls your form's link, availability, the screens respondents see, and who gets notified on submission. Open a form and select Settings to access these options. After making changes, click Save Settings.
Unique ID
The Unique ID creates the public link for your form. You can customize it to make the link easier to recognize, and TripLoft confirms whether the chosen ID is available. A link preview shows the final form URL.
Form Availability
Form Availability controls whether the form is currently accepting responses. While it's on, the form is live; turning it off immediately stops accepting responses and shows respondents the closed state instead.
Stop Accepting Responses Automatically
Instead of closing a form manually, you can have it close on its own using either of these rules:
After a number of responses - The form closes once the set number of submissions is reached.
On a specific date and time - The form closes automatically at the selected date and time.
If both rules are enabled, the form closes as soon as either condition is met.
Submission Experience
This section customizes what respondents see after they submit the form. You can set:
Confirmation screen title - Displayed at the top of the confirmation screen after submission.
Confirmation screen message - Used to thank respondents or let them know what happens next.
Redirect to another page - Optionally send respondents to a custom URL after they submit, instead of showing the confirmation screen.
Use the Preview option to see the confirmation experience before saving.
Closed State
The closed state is shown when someone tries to access a form that's no longer accepting responses. You can customize:
Closed screen title - Displayed at the top of the screen when the form is closed.
Closed screen message - Used to explain why the form is closed or what the respondent should do next.
Email Notifications
Choose who gets notified when the form is submitted.
Agent notifications - Enable to receive an email yourself whenever a client submits the form.
Client notifications - Control whether respondents receive a confirmation email, with three options:
Don't send a confirmation email - Respondents receive no email after submitting.
Send only if the client requests it - Respondents can choose to receive a confirmation email with a link to view their submission.
Always send a confirmation email - Respondents automatically receive a confirmation email with a link to view their submission.
Conclusion
Preview a form before sharing, distribute it by email, link, or embed, and use the Settings tab to control the form's link, availability, respondent screens, and notifications.
