Forms help you gather information from travelers and contacts using structured, shareable forms. You can create forms for trip planning, traveler details, document collection, preferences, agreements, and other business processes. When someone submits a form, TripLoft does more than record the response: it can automatically create or update contacts and trips and sync the answers into the matching profile and trip fields, so you never re-enter what a client has already told you.

Access Forms
To access Forms:
Navigate to Templates.
Select Forms.
The Forms page (titled Forms Template) lists all your form templates. For each form you can see its name, status, number of responses, when it was last updated, when it was created, and who created it. Click + Create Forms Template to start a new form.
When you open Forms for the first time, you'll find a set of ready-made forms added as default by TripLoft, covering common needs such as trip details, passport information, client profile updates, cancellation requests, and post-trip reviews.
They're there to help you get started faster, so you can begin collecting information right away instead of building every form from scratch.
How Forms Work
Building and using a form follows a simple path:
Create - Start a new form from the Forms page and give it a title and description.
Build - Add and arrange elements in the Form Builder to collect the information you need.
Share - Preview the form, then share it by email, direct link, or by embedding it on your website.
Collect - Responses are captured against the form, and TripLoft routes the data where it belongs, creating or updating contacts and trips automatically (see Using Form Responses in Trips and Contacts). The response count appears on the Forms page.
Each of these steps is covered in detail in its own article.
Form Elements
The Form Builder offers a range of elements, grouped into four categories so you can collect different kinds of information:
Travel Information - Trip details and notes.
Contact Information - Profile fields such as name, email, phone, passport, preferences, and more.
Custom Questions - Flexible question types like short answer, multiple choice, dropdowns, ratings, and file uploads.
General Elements - Supporting elements such as information blocks, e-signatures, and terms & conditions.
For the full list of elements and how to configure them, see Creating and Managing Forms.
Managing Forms
The Forms page is your hub for monitoring and managing forms. Each form shows its status (Active or Inactive), response count, last updated date, creation date, and creator - making it easy to track active forms and monitor engagement. Use the search bar and the All Forms filter to narrow the list, and the action menu (âŻ) on any row to manage an individual form.
Conclusion
Forms provide a flexible way to collect traveler, contact, and trip-related information. From the Forms page you can create new forms, build them with a range of elements, share them with respondents, and track responses - all in one place.
