Suspending a Sub-Agency is one of the most consequential actions a Parent Agency can take. It isn't a single click: you deactivate the agency's members first, then suspend the agency itself.
Step 1: Deactivate every member
Open the Sub-Agency's Members tab and deactivate each member. All of them have to be deactivated before the agency can be suspended, and the Suspend button stays disabled until they are.
A deactivated member is locked out immediately. Any request they make, from any device or integration, is rejected. This is enforced at the authentication layer, so there's no delay and no way around it.
Deactivating also frees the seat that member occupied, which you can then use to invite someone else.
Step 2: Suspend the agency
With every member deactivated, go to the Sub-Agency's Settings tab and click Suspend in the Status card. Review the confirmation dialog, then confirm. The Status indicator updates right away.
Step 1 handles the access. Step 2 is the record: it marks the agency as no longer working with you, so nobody on your team invites a new member into an agency that's been wound down.

What suspending doesn't do
Suspending deletes nothing. All of the Sub-Agency's trips, contacts, tasks, and history stay exactly as they are, waiting for you if the agency comes back.
It also doesn't touch the Parent Agency. Your own members keep full access, so you can review or wind down the Sub-Agency's work afterward.
Who can do this
Only the Parent Agency's owner or admins can suspend or reactivate a Sub-Agency.
Step 1 is different. A Sub-Agency's own owner and admins can deactivate their members too, so that part isn't exclusive to you. Suspending the agency is.
Good to know: Like the Parent Agency's other rights over a Sub-Agency, suspension is for emergencies and exceptions. Tell the Sub-Agency owner first unless the situation makes that impossible. See Roles & Permissions.
Reactivating
Reactivating reverses the same two steps, in the same order.
Open the Sub-Agency's Status card, where the button now reads Reactivate, and confirm. Then reactivate the members you want back from its Members tab. You don't have to bring everyone back, only the people you need.
Good to know: Each member you reactivate takes up a seat again. If those seats were filled while the agency was suspended, you'll need to free some up or add more before you can bring everyone back. Seat limits apply on the Pro plan; Enterprise Parent Agencies aren't restricted this way.
Nothing needs re-creating. The agency's data was never touched, so reactivated members find their trips and contacts as they left them.
