TripLoft connects to Project Expedition's catalog of tours and activities, so you can search for a tour by name and import its details (description, photos, duration, and location) straight into an Activity component. Instead of retyping everything from a supplier's website, you search the tour, review it, and add it as a ready-to-customize part of your proposal.
Tour content comes directly from the Project Expedition API. The tours you find, and the details that import, are whatever Project Expedition provides for that tour.
Recommended workflow. The tour search matches on keywords, not on dates or availability. The simplest approach is to browse Project Expedition's website first, decide on a tour, then search that tour's name in TripLoft to import it. (Date and availability filters inside TripLoft are planned for the future.)
What imports from a tour
When you add a tour, TripLoft pulls in whatever the tour provides through Project Expedition, which can include:
The tour name and description
The photo gallery
The duration and location
Exactly what populates depends on the tour: some tours provide more detail than others. You can edit or fill in anything after import.
Search for a tour and add it to your proposal
Step 1: Add an Activity to the day you want
From the Add Items panel, drag an Activity component into the day section where the tour should appear. This matters: an imported tour stays in the section you drag it into, so place it on the right day first.
This is different from cruise import. A cruise carries its own dates, so its ports move to their matching day sections automatically. A Project Expedition tour does not carry a fixed date, so it stays wherever you drop the Activity. You set the day by choosing where to drag it.

Step 2: Search for the tour
Open the Activity to reach the Edit Activity screen. On the General Info tab, in the Activity Info section, leave the Add manually toggle off to use the search.
Tour Operator is set to Project Expedition
In Tour Name, type keywords for the tour you found on Project Expedition's site
Click Search for tour. Matching tours appear in a list with their name and type, and a count of how many were found.

Step 3: Review the tour and add it
Click a tour in the results to open its detail view: photos, description, duration, type, and location. Use Read More to open the tour's page on the Project Expedition website in a new tab, where you can check current availability and full details. When you're ready, save the tour to populate the Activity component.
The imported tour stays in the section where you placed the Activity, comes in at $0.00, and is assigned to all trip travelers by default, the same as a component you add manually.

Enter an activity manually instead
If the activity isn't on Project Expedition, or you'd rather build it by hand, turn on the Add manually toggle in Activity Info. The search is replaced with fields you fill in yourself: Tour/Activity Name, Activity Type, Tour Operator (search your suppliers), Location, Start Date, Start Time and time zone, Duration, and a Description. You can add your own photos on the Media tab, where you can also set a primary image.

Good to know
Search is by keyword, not dates: pick your tour on Project Expedition first, then search its name in TripLoft
The activity stays where you drop it: set the day by dragging the Activity into the right section before importing
Imported detail varies by tour: TripLoft brings in whatever Project Expedition provides, and you can edit or add to it afterward
Pricing is not imported: every activity comes in at $0.00. Set pricing on the Pricing & Booking tab after import - see Configure Pricing for Proposal Components
All trip travelers are assigned: imported activities are assigned to every traveler on the trip by default
