Import from My Library

Import a single component or a whole proposal from My Library, with pricing and media intact.

My Library holds the components and proposals you've saved to reuse: the resort you book every winter, a Tuscany itinerary you rework each season, the transfer supplier you always use. Import one into the proposal you're building and edit it for this trip.

Before you import

My Library is a tab in your workspace's Templates area, alongside templates for forms, emails, automations, and tasks. It stores two kinds of things: individual trip components and full proposals.

You can build a template from Templates > My Library using the Create button, or save one as you work on a trip using Save to Library at the bottom of any component's edit drawer.

Templates don't store exact dates or travelers. Both come from the trip you import into.

Step 1: Open My Library from your proposal

In the proposal builder, the left panel lists every trip item you can add. Below that list sit two buttons: Smart Import and Import from My Library. Click the second one.

The popup lists your saved templates with name, type, property or supplier, and last updated date. Search or use the All Components filter to narrow the list. Whole proposals appear here too, typed as Proposal.

Step 2: Preview it, or add it directly

  • Preview first: click the template, then click Add to Proposal at the bottom of the Preview Template panel.

  • Skip the preview: use Add to Proposal in the three-dot menu under Actions.

Good to know: The Preview Template panel shows the template as your client will see it, so it's a useful last check before adding.

Step 3: Place it in the proposal

What happens next depends on the template type.

  • A single component: a Select Day dialog appears. Choose the day, then click Add to Proposal.

  • A whole proposal: no day prompt. It imports from Day 1, laying components across the days as they were saved. If the saved proposal spans more days than your trip has, TripLoft extends the trip to fit.

What carries over

Unlike the other import sources, My Library templates arrive complete.

  • Pricing is copied. Prices set in the template come through. Smart Import and the cruise and activity imports arrive at $0.00 instead.

  • Media and attachments are copied. Photos and files saved on the template come with it.

  • All entered details are copied. Descriptions and component fields are brought in.

  • Dates and travelers come from the trip. Imported components take the day you place them on and the travelers on the current trip, not whoever was on the trip where you first saved the template.
